User Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using Verse you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to form a binding contract and not be barred by applicable law from using financial‑services products. To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate information. You agree to keep your login credentials confidential and are responsible for all activities under your account.

Verse enables you to:

• Receive proceeds in your Naira wallet and withdraw to your linked bank account.
• Pay for airtime, data, cable TV, electricity and other supported services.
• Send money to other users or third parties.
• Deposit funds from bank or other sources.

We may modify or discontinue any feature at any time without liability.

You agree to comply with our identity‑verification procedures and provide all information we request for KYC/AML purposes. We may suspend or terminate your account if you fail to complete verification or if we suspect unlawful or fraudulent activity.

We may charge fees or spread (the difference between buy and sell rates) on transactions. Current fees and rates are displayed within the App. We may change fees by posting updated information in the App; continued use after a fee change constitutes acceptance.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or fraudulent activity, including money laundering, financing of terrorism or prohibited trading.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation.
• Access or attempt to access another user’s account without permission.

We reserve the right to investigate and take legal action against violations, including reporting to law‑enforcement authorities.

Verse, including all content, logos and software, is the property of Versengtrade Technologies and protected by copyright and trademark laws. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the App without our written permission.

The App may contain links to third‑party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third parties. Use third‑party services at your own risk.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms or suspected fraudulent activity. You may close your account by following in‑app instructions. Termination does not relieve either party of obligations arising prior to termination, including payment of fees.

Verse is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error‑free or free of viruses. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Versengtrade Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you have paid in fees in the six months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Versengtrade Technologies, its affiliates, directors and employees from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms or infringement of any third‑party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved by the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless applicable law requires a different forum. Before resorting to litigation, we encourage you to contact us to resolve the dispute informally.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the App with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
